  5. Overview
  6. ~~~~~~~~
  7. MicPlay Version 1.0 has the following features:
  8. 1)      MicPlay can play .MID and .WAV files through different sound
  9.         card in MS Windows 3.1.  It depends on which sound driver you
  10.         have installed.
  11. 2)      MicPlay can list all .MID and .WAV files in the selected
  12.         directory simutaneously.
  13. 3)      MicPlay can read and write the 4DOS or NDOS description file
  14.         and display the sound files' descriptions.
  15. 4)      If you want to delete a file, you simply have to drag the
  16.         file over the trashcan.  That's it!  You can set option for
  17.         confirming deletion of file.
  18. 5)      You can play one of your favourite .MID music files repeatly
  19.         just by one single click without pressing the PLAY button in
  20.         MPLAYER every 2 mins 31 secs.  :)
  21. 6)    User friendly and fancy graphical user interface.

  23. How to install?
  24. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  25. 1)      Unzip the MICPLAY.ZIP file to a directory that you like.  I
  26.         think you should have done this yet!  (If not, how can you
  27.         read this document? )
  28.         In the directory, you should find the following 18 files:
  29.                 file_id.diz
  30.                 mci.vb_
  31.                 mhml200.vb_
  32.                 mhrun200.dl_
  33.                 micplay.ex_
  34.                 micplay.tx_
  35.                 micplay.wri
  36.                 picclip.vb_
  37.                 readme.1st
  38.                 register.tx_
  39.                 setup.exe
  40.                 setup.lst
  41.                 setup1.ex_
  42.                 setupkit.dl_
  43.                 sysop.tx_
  44.                 threed.vb_
  45.                 vbrun200.dl_
  46.                 vendor.tx_
  47.                 warranty.tx_

  49.         (If you find any one of the 18 files is missing, you should
  50.          not use it)

  52. 2)      Run SETUP.EXE from the File->Run Menu of Program Manager.
  53.         Follow the instructions showed in the setup program.
  54. 3)      After finished setup, click the icon which is newlly created
  55.         in Program Manager.
